about

[SFR017] MANNEQVIN HAND - 'Motherlode'
shakefork.com/pdf/SFR017-ManneqvinHand_Booklet.pdf

In January of 1991, Manneqvin Hand recorded four songs intended for release on Shakefork entitled 'Raging Bull.' It was the Glen Ellyn band's last recording and it sat on the shelf for twenty-six years. Although in a format different from originally intended, we are finally able to bring you this release in digital form. With the inclusion of 'Jow' [SFR001] and the infamous goldenrod cassette (featuring "Thermometer" also found on 'No Punks in the Pit' [SFR005]), 'Motherlode' is the long overdue collection of their recordings. Each song has been remastered from the highest quality audio available.
